Луната висне като плод,
забравен в есенни градини,
и буди сънния живот
на туй, което в сън ще мине.
Аз виждам светлия възход
на първата любов, изгряла
като надежда за живот,
като печал преди раздяла.
И две протегнати ръце,
които искат и не могат
да стоплят мразното сърце
на вси низвъргнати от бога.
Аз чувам гордите слова
на своята душа безгласна,
но пак безпаметно зова
и в шеметна забрава гасна
по две замислени очи,
окъпани в златисто вино.
И моята любов звучи,
и като звук ще ме отмине.
THE MOON IS HANGING LIKE A FRUIT…
The moon is hanging like a fruit
forgotten in an autumn’s garden
and wakes the dream-life with a hoot
of all that in a dream will happen.
I see the brightest elevation,
of my first love, forever dawning
like the hope for revelation
like the sadness of my mourning.
And hands extending and unfolded
that deeply want and yet cannot
warm up the coldest heart unmolded
forever turned away from God.
I hear the prideful declarations
of my own tired voiceless spirit
that un-recalling, calls impatient
obliviously dimming in it
one pair of reminiscing eyes
bathed in a golden wine’s sweet waters
And my dear love, how it resigns
and like a sound will soon pass over.
DER MOND STEHT AUFGEHÄNGT WIE OBST…
Der Mond steht aufgehängt wie Obst
Vergessen im herbstlichen Garten
Er weckt das Leben auf, das strotzt
vor das, was uns steht in den Karten.
Ich sehe den heiligsten Aufstieg
der ersten Liebe rot aufgehend
wie Hoffnung auf Leben und Sieg
wie unsere Trennung bevorstehend.
Und zweier Hände ausgestreckt
die wollen, und jedoch nicht können
das kalte Herz mit Hass bedeckt
zu wärmen ohne Gottes Sonne.
Ich hör’ die affektierten Worte
der meinen Seele stummer Stimme
vergessend schreie ich in Orte
und löse mich auf in der Stille.
Ein paar zwei Augen wie versonnen
gebadet im goldigen Wein
und meine Liebe ist verloren,
sie wird mich lassen so allein.
