\nClay, sand, loess have been dug and taken away
\nin the mornings by a sovkhoz [Soviet Farm].<\/p>\n

Party bosses used to visit this riverbank,
\nThe Regional Committee came for a picnic,
\nKrikviagan princes used to hunt an aurochs,
\nAnd Finno-Ugrian tribesmen fished for their eels.<\/p>\n

Today, the road is all but gone,
\nThe Krikviagan Ford is deep and muddy,
\nThe locals think in desperation
\nNot of God but of dollar.<\/p>\n

\nNear the Little Krikviaga river
\nThe world knows neither good nor evil,
