A Round-Table Workshop „Cross-Linguistic Corpora“ will take place at the at the University of Zurich, Rämistrasse 71, 8006 Zürich, KOL G 222 (as well as online), on November 5, 2021 .
The goal of this workshop is to have an informal, free discussion about material and methods of processing corpora containing texts or recordings of multiple language varieties. These are chosen preferrably – but not exclusively – from contact zones between Romance and Slavic varieties of various nature: translations of historical texts, dialectal material from multi-ethnic areas, observations of L2 acquisition and so on.
