“Pacific-studies.net is a European-based (but not European-exclusive) network and platform of and for researchers and students in the social sciences and humanities in and on the Pacific region. The network also hosts the ESfO (European Society for Oceanists) membership database and its regular conferences.
The start of pacific-studies.net was made by the ECOPAS project, which is dedicated to networking and supporting activities related to Pacific studies, while establishing a durable dialogue between research institutions and the local, national and international policymaking agencies. It includes the building of this digital platform that gives access, for each country of the Pacific region, to general information, to the professional profile of experts, and to a virtual library of resources (publications, archives, maps, visual and audio materials).”
