Island Studies Journal
The Island Studies Journal (ISJ) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the study of islands and archipelagos. It publishes research that examines issues affecting islands, compares island policies and developments, and situates islands within wider regional and global systems, including relations with mainlands, other islands, and surrounding seas. The journal also engages with theoretical and conceptual work relevant to island studies. ISJ is connected to the Small Island Cultures Research Initiative (SICRI) and the International Small Islands Studies Association (ISISA).
