Auf Augenhöhe?
Thorolf Lipp has conducted ethnographic fieldwork about gol (land diving) on the island of Pentecost in Vanuatu between 1997 and 2004. In return, he invited several men from Bunlap village to collaborate with him on an exhibition in the small town of Obergünzburg in Germany. Planning took four to five years, and involved many challenges and setbacks. Together with his partner, Martina Kleinert, Thorolf Lipp gives intimate insights into friendship and collaboration.
