“Seu‘ula Johansson-Fua is a Tongan educator and scholar known for her contributions to Pacific education and leadership. Her research emphasizes culturally grounded approaches to learning, particularly relationality, Indigenous knowledge systems, and collaborative research practices. In her work “Motutapu,” she introduces a metaphorical and cultural space for meaningful, reciprocal research in Oceania, rooted in local values and communal responsibility. Johansson-Fua advocates for decolonizing education through Pacific philosophies and community engagement.”
