Philipp Schorch

“Philipp Schorch is the research group leader of the IndiGen project and a professor of Museum Anthropology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany.  He is also an honorary senior research associate at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge, UK. Philipp’s research focuses on museums; material culture, history and theory; contemporary art and (post)colonial histories; the Pacific and Europe; collaborations with Indigenous artists, curators, and scholars; and (post)socialisms.” He was also part of the project: The coconut palm: A tree of life? NIU voyaging into the future.
