Mere Tuilau is a rights activist, facilitator, and youth leader from Fiji with over seven years of experience working with Pacific youths and regional civil society movements. Her advocacy focuses on self-determination, nuclear issues, and the protection of ocean spaces. Passionate about empowering young people as stewards of the Pacific, she works to ensure that their voices and narratives shape the region’s future. In 2022, she won the Survivor Category of the APLN Pacific Island Creative Competition
