Martha Macintyre holds the title of honorary professorial fellow in both the Faculty of Arts (Administration) and the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne. She is also a member of the Australian Anthropological Society. Her research includes collaboration with Simon Foale on the project: Social, Environmental and Economic Sustainability in the Context of Melanesian Mining Projects.
