Guido Carlo Pigliasco is an Italian anthropologist and former lawyer specializing in the protection of intangible cultural heritage. During his fieldwork in Fiji, he became involved in the Sawau Project, working closely with the local community to help reclaim and document their firewalking tradition. His research combines legal expertise with anthropological methods to support cultural preservation initiatives.
