Bronyaslava Kumulgo-Kain

Bronyaslava Kumulgo‑Kain is a teacher, Indigenous researcher and community representative from the Ok Tedi region of Papua New Guinea, associated with the Ok Tedi Indigenous Group. She served as a Plenary Speaker at the 2021 RAI conference in a session titled “An Indigenous dialogue of knowledge about conservation”, representing voices from the Indigenous Sustainable Development (INDIS) Project. She is also credited as an Indigenous researcher in the INDIS project, working with Faiwol‑speaking Wopkaimin communities affected by the environmental and social impacts of the Ok Tedi copper-gold mine.
