Annika Sippel ( Sung)

Annika Sippel (also known as Annika Sung) is an art historian and emerging curator, currently working as a research assistant for Art and New Zealand Histories & Pacific Cultures at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. She studied art history at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, with a research focus on international historical art in New Zealand. Since joining the Sāmoan Multiplicities project at the end of last year, she has been engaged in research involving archival materials, data sets, academic journals, and exhibition records.
