University of Hawai’i at Manoa
The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, founded in 1907 as a land-grant college under the Morrill Act, has grown into the flagship campus of the University of Hawaiʻi System. Originally focused on agriculture and mechanic arts, it expanded to include arts, sciences, education, and a wide range of professional schools. Located in Mānoa Valley, minutes from Waikīkī and downtown Honolulu, it is recognised internationally for its research, particularly in Asia-Pacific, Hawaiian, and ocean sciences.
