MAI Journal

MAI Journal

MAI Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed journal publishing multidisciplinary articles on Indigenous knowledge and development in Aotearoa New Zealand. Established in 2012 as the successor to MAI Review, it reflects the vision of Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga, New Zealand’s Māori Centre of Research Excellence, and is also supported by the Māori Association of Social Science (MASS). The journal complements AlterNative: An International Journal of Indigenous Peoples and provides a platform for advancing critical Indigenous scholarship.
