Cláudio da Silva
Cláudio da Silva is an educator and biologist with advanced studies at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a doctoral candidate in Sciences of Education at the University of Porto, where he is also a PhD fellow at the Center for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE). He holds a master’s degree in Social Education, Development, and Local Dynamics, as well as bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Pedagogy. His professional background spans Brazil, Japan, and Papua New Guinea, where he has led intercultural educational projects, environmental workshops, and the development of Indigenous culture textbooks. His current research examines intercultural dialogue between schools and Indigenous communities, with a focus on integrating Indigenous knowledge into school curricula, including his contribution to the project A Maani Birds and Nalik Culture..
