Workshop: Filmmaking Methodologies for Researchers (UZH)

As part of our activities to screen Después de Trujillo here in Zurich, Jorge will be leading a workshop for postgrads and faculties to explore methodologies for incorporating film into research. We’ll spend a morning talking about why to make films; how to define and give shape to initial ideas, then start production. We’ll also be looking at film clips to think about different visual strategies and how they generate specific modes of storytelling, narrative, and a sense of place.

We’re very grateful to the Lateinamerika-Zentrum Zürich (LZZ); Digitale Lehre und Forschung (DLF); and the Doktoratsprogramm “Methoden und Perspektiven” (Romanisches Seminar) for supporting this activity.
